Yi Meng, third year master student, won the National Scholarship! Congratulations!
Prof. Junliang Sun, from college of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering, Peking University, paid a visit to our group and gave us a report entitled with "Structure determination of submicron crystals".
Prof. SonBinh T. Nguyen, from department of Chemistry, Northwestern University, paid a visit to our group and gave us a report entitled with "Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) as a general platform for deploying catalysis and adsorptive interactions".
Bo Gui (Ph.D student), Huimin Ding (Ph.D student) and Yingfan Zhang (master student) graduated from Wuhan University, wish them great success in next period!
Prof. Jing Li, from department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology, Rutgers University, paid a visit to our group and gave us a report entitled with "A Strategy in Developing High-performance Hybrid Phosphors for Energy-Efficient Lighting Technologies".
Professor Jean-Pierre Sauvage, recipient of the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 2016 visited Wuhan University again with his wife invited by professor Cheng Wang. He spent one week in Wuhan and gave several lectures in Wuhan University as well as three other universities.During his journey in Wuhan, we have spent plenty of time together and we learned a lot from professor Sauvage. The tour to the Garden Expo Garden and the boat cruising on Yangtze River are precious memories for all the members of our group. Also, the opportunity to present our work with professor Sauvage is a great honor and we have received many helpful advices from professor Sauvage. We are looking forward for his next visit.
